1 Peter 4:10-11
"As each one has received a gift, use it to serve one another as good stewards of God's varied grace. Whoever preaches, let it be with the words of God; whoever serves, let it be with the strength that God supplies, so that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belong glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen."
"This is my commandment: love one another as I love you. No one has greater love than this, to lay down one's life for one's friends."
There is no greater feeling than using your gifts and talents to serve your neighbors. Holy Spirit Catholic Church is blessed to have various ministries where our very own community members serve one another, the congregation, and those in need. We each were given individual gifts and talents by the grace of God, and thus, we should use those same gifts and talents to serve the Lord and serve one another. Here at Holy Spirit, our ministries include:
Art & Environment
Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist
Religious Education Teacher
If you feel you are being called to serve one of these ministries, please let someone in that ministry know and we'd be more than glad to assist you!
A quote from Pope Francis:
"Love and charity, are service, helping others, serving others. There are many people who spend their lives in this way, in the service of others. … When you forget yourself and think of others, this is love!"
